A group of parents from North Kashmir Thursday staged a protest alleging that well qualified youth masqueraded as candidates and appeared in class 12th examination of English paper for other students at Higher Secondary School Safapora Ganderbal. The class 12th examination for private candidates commenced from Feb 28 and on the very first day, well qualified youth impersonated for other students in lieu of money. The protesting parents said that a Class 4th employee is the kingpin of this illegal fixture.

“It is not for the first time that examination staff in connivance with school authorities has resorted to such illegal practice but in past as well, well qualified youth impersonated for other students to qualify the examination,” they told new agency CNS. We appeal Board of School Education official to probe the matter at an earliest and bring the culprits to justice, who are hell bent to ruin the career of students for money.

When contacted, Principal Higher Secondary School Safapora Abdul Ahad Bhat refuted these allegations saying that he himself checked the identity cards and Roll number slips of the candidates before the commencement of the examination.
